St. Landry Parish Household Hazardous Waste Day

Household Hazardous Waste Day in St. Landry Parish is Saturday, November 3rd at the St. Landry Parish Recycling Centers. In Opelousas, the Center at 2717 W. Landry Street is open from 8AM-Noon. In Eunice, the Center at 450 North C.C. Duson Street is open from 8:30AM-Noon. This is open to all St. Landry Parish residents. You must show proof of residency. They’ll be accepting paints, automobile batteries, motor oil, antifreeze, household cleaners, household chemicals, pesticides, flammables, corrosives, medications, tires(limit 5 per person), flourescent tubes and bulbs, computers, monitors, printers, scanners, cell phones and cell phone batteries. This collection is for households only. Large quantities from businesses, farms or commercial operations will not be accepted.
